Our History...
Welcome to Masterkarn kennels. We have been breeding quality dogs since 1984 with Dobermanns and a renowned and respected founding German Pinscher kennel from 1989 - today. With our extensive experience and passion for these dogs, we strive to produce exceptional show dogs that not only excel in the ring but also make loving and loyal companions. With a legacy dating back to our inception, we take immense pride in our distinguished history. Our kennel is dedicated to preserving and promoting this rare breed, known for its elegance, intelligence, and versatility.
Our journey began alongside three other founding breeders: Paul and Sue Hopper working with Mike and Helen Towell of DEUTSCHPIN (German Pinschers from1986-1989), MASTERKARN (ESt-1989), MEISTERPIN (Est-1989), and WALLINGBURG (Est-1989) with German Pinschers although most were breeders prior to the GP's arrival in Australia.. Together, we laid the foundation for the German Pinscher breeding landscape in Australia, each contributing unique insights and imported a combined 5 dogs to enrich the breed's genetic diversity within the first 10 years. Our breeding program focuses on genetic health, temperament, and conformation to correct breed standards, ensuring that each puppy we produce is of the highest quality.
